Too often building a home has become nothing more than a cookie cutter process where homes are absent of distinguishing features, valuing uniformity rather than allowing a homeowners personal vision to shine through.
RandToner Construction was established in the spirit that homeowners should be able to express themselves through the construction process. Building a home with RandToner is a fluid process that allows for changes at various stages in the build, rather than a rigid process where the homeowner is locked into the decisions made on day one.
Combining many years of construction experience with the homeowner's vision in a collaborative process is what defines the RandToner experience. Even small changes, like bumping a wall two inches, can truly make a drastic difference in defining the character of the home. These are the types of details that RandToner Construction hold dear in their home building process, above all, the desire is to restore creativity and turn something ordinary into something extraordinary.
Jason Rand, Co-Founder of Rand-Toner Construction, created the soul of the company by combining his many years of construction experience with his love for creating beautiful homes. Passionately tying these homes into the Helena community and State of Montana. Jason retired from the Montana Air National Guard to focus fully on his Construction Company, which been growing extremely fast despite the Global Financial Crisis. During his time in service he proudly represented Montana while deployed in Iraq and even managed to keep Rand-Toner Construction open for business with the help of his business partner. Jason strongly supports the Helena local economy and works almost exclusively with local subcontractors as well as making great efforts to locally source construction materials.
Keenan Toner, Co-Founder of Rand-Toner Construction, is the heart of the company in many ways with his strong work ethic and passionate approach to guiding homeowners through the construction process. This dawn to dusk work ethic was ingrained in Keenan’s character from working on his family’s farm since he was a child; located in the Montana Hi-Line region, which is historically symbolic to Montana’s character. To this very day Keenan still participates yearly in the harvest season showing his dedication to family and commitment to the work he enjoys. Embodied in every home constructed is this dedication, work ethic, and commitment to making sure the experience is exactly what the homeowner expects.
Jeremy Rand, Management Aide, has been assisting Rand-Toner Construction off and on over the years while attend college and only recently has become a part-time employee to assist with various business development aspects of the company. In particular the construction marketing tools, budgeting practices, website development, and brand recognition have been the primary focuses.
Tina Peterson, Rand-Toner’s preferred Realtor, has been partnered with the company since Jason and Keenan broke ground on their first custom home. She takes great pride in her work and has become a part of the Rand-Toner experience providing real estate services on their behalf. She is personable and goes out of her way to make sure every detail is taken care of during the home construction process, so the homeowner’s mind can focus fully on building their dream house rather than trying to remember if they filled out the last form correctly.
